Extra Topic Rules – READ FIRST!

Please do note that we do not allow any type of illegal hacks and mods!

Illegal hacks and mods for example include (but are not limited to):

• Jail breaking consoles to install illegally download games
• hacks/mods to circumvent licensing systems (either software or hardware)
• Hacks/mods etc to gather data from victims (key loggers etc)
• Hacks/mods to illegally track others for example
• And basically anything alike

HOWEVER, if you for example re-purpose an old tablet which otherwise would be considered e-waste due to the developer/company deciding to just not updating it anymore by installing “non licensed” software, then I personally consider this an grey-area and will allow it on the forums. Given that it’s not used for any commercial purposes!

Same for example also goes for modding consoles (or other devices) to run your own (or home-brew) software on it. I personally have nothing against this and will allow it on the forums, especially if it’s for educational or research purposes. However if the intend is to actually play games illegally for example, then it will result in a post removal and possibly even a (forum) account ban.

Please just use your own common sense when considering if something is illegal and/or for illegal purposes!
